Just found this out in cancer treatment. With protein, full fat repairs your cells, needs it; and you actually eat less because full fat is so satisfying taste-wise. But the cancer doctors had to really break down the latest dietary research for me because I was a loyal, fanatic, anti-fat person. I’ve lost 55 pounds. Then I found out the doctor that started the anti-fat movement in 1970 did it with purposefully missing data, and faulty trials.
This came out in 2014, and quickly buried because so many famous doctors have made a career out of the anti-fat/reduced fat/fat-free movement. Doctor’s papers have been removed from scientific medical journals. He is banned from publishing, and I think medical institutions took away his medical credentials. The ads are posted by an external advertising service. They have an automated “bot” that scans any page that is using their advertising code. The bot scans the text to determine what the article is about then serves up an ad that is most relevant to the content on the page.
So if the bot “thinks” that the article is about children’s clothing, the advertising server will place ads on the page that are relevant to the topic on the page, so you might see ads for children’s clothing, children’s bedding, toys, etc. The blogger has no control over which ads appear on the page. The purpose of this strategy is to serve up ads that readers are the most likely to be interested in since the advertisers know that if you’re here to read an article about car engines you probably won’t be interested in something not relevant to that topic, such as diapers or home decor. Maybe not harmful to the general population, Dan,or to you, but to those of us that live day to day with an MSG intolerance, it is very real. It causes migraines, as well as intestinal, vision, and heart issues. I have to carry around a paragraph of MSG synonyms when I shop since so many manufacturers these days hide this ingredient under other names. It can be naturally occurring as well, so the label can advertise “No Added MSG” yet still contain MSG.
I make most things from scratch and going out to eat is like tossing a dice. I am happy that you and many others do not have to live with this issue, but please do not reduce what others have to live with as a conspiracy theory. Thanks for sharing your “PHD free” wisdom, Patty. MSG allergies are very real. I’ve had issues with even naturally occurring MSG that have sent me to the emergency room with migraines that were unbearable.
The fact that you lied to your guest and that no one that became ill, that you know of, just means that you were darn lucky. Ignorance is no excuse and God help you if your guests find out that you lied to them if they became ill. It’s people like you that spout opinion without facts to base their thoughts on that make like people less. This was the absolute BEST thread I’ve ever read on a recipe site!!
It’s amazing how people can argue and name-call about literally everythingeven slow cooker chicken. BTWI’m on TEAM PATTY!!! MSG allergies have been debunked with this little thing called SCIENCE long ago.
It’s psychological. HAHAHA!!NOTE: Patty never said she was a nutrionalist. In fact, she specifically said she WASN’T but your anger and eagerness to pounce prevented you from actually READING her comment completely. This recipe is amazing, cousin’s wife made it!! When making it myself (and doubling the recipe), I thought the ranch was overpowering.
Warm Dips For Winter
I’m a ranch fanatic so to be too strong of flavor to me, is saying something!! So much that I had to cut it with sour cream!! Great recipe but too much ranch seasoning I thought. Considering there are various flavors of cream cheese to use AND you’re adding bacon already, there should be plenty of flavor using only 1 ranch packet. Dynamite recipe recipe all things considered.★ ★ ★ ★.
